I have a passion for words, and have had the good fortune to follow that passion in my professional life: teaching creative writing and composition, marketing for Powell’s Books, and successfully founding and running a literary magazine, The Ne’er-Do-Well.
Now I’m a freelance writer and editor.
As a writer, I help entrepreneurs craft compelling communication: web content, email marketing, direct mail, and beyond. With a background in marketing and creative writing, I have a brain for strategy and an ear for fresh, vivid language.
As an editor, I help authors and entrepreneurs sharpen their writing and clarify their intention, whether they’re looking for an in-depth critique or copyedit of a full-length creative manuscript, or a quick proofread on a piece of marketing copy.
